Hibret Insurance conducted its Insurance Brokers' Annual Consultative Meeting and Recognition Program on Thursday, 27 August 2026, at the Inter Luxury Hotel – Addis Ababa.
The program aimed to thank and recognize insurance brokers who are working with the Company in general and who contributed quite significant amount of premium in the 2025/26 fiscal year in particular.
CEO's Remarks
In her opening remarks, the CEO, W/ro Meseret Bezabih stated that the company achieved excellent results in the 2025/26 fiscal year for the realization of which she emphasized that insurance brokers were key partners in achieving this success.
The CEO underscored that Hibret Insurance will continue to work closely with insurance brokers to maintain these results as it firmly believes that the insurance industry has nowhere to reach without insurance brokers.
Broker Awards
At the conclusion of the program, six insurance brokers who generated the highest premiums were recognized and awarded for their outstanding contributions to the company's success during the 2025/26 fiscal year.
The event reinforced the strong partnership between Hibret Insurance and the broker community, which remains central to the company's growth strategy and market presence across Ethiopia.
