W/ro Meseret Bezabih, Chief Executive Officer of Hibret Insurance, was named "CEO of the Year" during the 50th Conference and Annual General Assembly of the African Insurance Organization (AIO) held in Windhoek, Namibia.
She was honored as Best CEO of the Year at the 9th edition of the African Insurance Award (AIA) 2024 Gala Dinner for demonstrating exceptional leadership in the Ethiopian market.
Recognition of Excellence
The award recognized her remarkable increase in net profit, product development, tremendous company growth, and 25 years of experience that benefited the company and the local insurance industry.
Her outstanding contribution includes serving as President of the Association of Ethiopian Insurers and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Ethiopian Reinsurance Company, as well as advancing the insurance industry in Africa.
